Celebrity Style Steal: Cheryl Cole's Hippie Dress

I saw this photo of Cheryl Cole the other day in a magazine and love her outfit so much that I had to do a post on it. After searching google for far too long I finally found the website (http://www.bluebee.com/) that she bought the dress from but unfortunately they don't sell it anymore, however they do sell a very similar dress (below) for $398.00 here. It is pricey but it's 95% silk and I looove it :D

Regrettably, we don't all have that amount of cash to splash on a single ensemble so I decided to recreate the look using items more within our decidedly limited budget.. Here is a skirt I found from a lovely website (http://www.thelittlebazaar.com/) that has a massive range of gypsy skirts all at fantastic prices, you can find this one here for a pocket-friendly $24.99.

I have paired it with wardrobe basics to complete the look, I gave the waist belt a miss as I don't think that counts as a hijabis wardrobe essential:

I think a hippie hijab style like this would look best with the outfit, but of course you can experiment to find what works:

Hope you like the look ^-^

Celebrity Style Steal: Hayrunisa Gul

Hayrunisa Gul is the wife of the president of Turkey and she's today's style steal. Her look is always suited and smart so she looks the part and her signature hijab style is, unsurprisingly, Turkish.

Here she wears a metallic headscarf, one I thought would be hard to pull off but she's done it wonderfully:

I like this tweed skirt suit, very Chanel:

I do like her outfit in this pic, but just prefer the other woman's lol:

A couple more skirt suits:

I like her style but it would be nice if she would chill out a bit and go a tiny bit casual even if she still wants to look prim :D like this:

Celebrity Style Steal.. Queen Rania of Jordan

According to the times magazine, Queen Rania is one of the 100 most influential people in the world and she also has a great wardrobe, perfect combo if you ask me! She doesn't wear the hijab but she dresses fairly modestly and most of what she wears is 'hijabifiable'. Here are some photos I like:

This green dress is so adorable, I've always said sleeved dresses are more glamorous than sleeveless ones..

I really like this outfit, all you would need to hijabify is to loose the belt and your good to go, it's also a look perfect for smart or casual depending on accessories:

Queen Rania with a bunch of hijabies, I could not possibly comment on all their outfits:

In a loooovely Palestinian galabya, where she is originally from:

What I love about her style is that it's smart but looks so effortless at the same time, like here:

I've tried to create an effortless-chique look here that's smart-casual:

Hope you like her glamorous style too! More celebrity style steals coming soon, Insha'Allah.

Celebrity Style Steal..Yassmin Mohsen

Young Egyptian model Yassmin Mohsen is my next style steal, her layered tees and colourful style is lovely and individual with just a hint of Egypt :D Here are some pics I dug up, most were taken by photographer Ahmed Abou-Zeid:

She loves her multi wrap hijabs, they are defiantly her signature style and I love the colour combo of this outfit:

Pink and purple, so cute and girly ^-^

I wish I knew how they get their hijabs like that! Egyptians have such cool wrap styles:

Ahh traditional Arab style, I love it :D

Here's a set I made a while back inspired by traditional Arabic dress:

Hmm, I'm not too sure about the next two though..

If you've read my previous post you'll know exactly how I feel about wearing a long sleeved top under a short sleeve dress, it's a fashion disaster. Don't do it to yourself, boleros all the way!

And the next..

Well animal print may be big this spring but this outfit is just not for me, thumbs down. Ohh, I heart this next one though! Long high waisted skirts are so cute but they're difficult to get hold of..

As it's her beloved style, I thought I'd put in a set inspired but the wonderful land of multi wrap hijabs:

Celebrity Style Steal.. Azizah Ariffin

Popular TV personality from Malaysia, Azizah is my next style steal. She has recently started wearing hijab - June of this year to be precise on her 39th birthday. I've managed to dig up some pictures of her newly found hijab style:

First off, a staple of the hijabis wardrobe - a pure white tunic. I like those pretty embellishments too :)

Wow a bold, colourful dress. Red suits this skin tone very well:

My steal - inspired by the red dress.. but far less casual ^-^

A bit grainy but you can still make out the cute patterned tunic and dark jeans. Nice :)

And lastly, a sweet blue and white outfit..

Hope you liked this celeb style steal.. more coming soon Insha'Allah.

Celebrity Style Steal..Hala Shiha

Egyptian actress Hala Shiha is my next style steal, I'm not entirely sure if she still wears the hijab but I'm not to fussed about it either. I couldn't find many photos of her hijab style but here's what I managed to dig out:

First off, she's gone pretty casual in this picture, I like the look I just hope there's nothing evenly remotly related to denim on the bottom half :S It looks like she's gone for a belt above the hips- a far better alternative to wearing a waist belt if you really must wear one at all.

Hmm, personally I think this is so tightly wrapped it looks more like a bandage..but on the plus side you can wear dangley earrings with this style and still cover your ears. I think it would look better with a patterned scarf if you want to wrap it so tightly.

This tuquoise hijab is so cute ^-^

And my fave pic, I love the colours and if that's a dress it certainly looks stunning:

My steal, is of her demin jacket look..ahh who doesn't love a maxi dress?

(Little?) Red Dress by Zaenab

I'm not sure about her style simply because the photos don't show the whole outfits..hope you liked it anyway :D

Celebrity Style Steal..Wardina Safiyyah

Actress, presenter, model and mother, Wardina Safiyyah is my next style steal. She lives in Malaysia, but is mixed race herself and started wearing hijab back in Ramadan of 2000. I cannot get enough of her diverse style and she is certainly my favorite 'celebrity style steal' so far. So here is a taste of her hijab fashion approach:

Starting glam, I love this gold dress she's wearing! The pink one the other women's got on is so cute, I want both outfits :D

I'm not the greatest fan of abayas, but this one is so stunning. The outfit of the other women is gorgeous - a simple way to glam up a hijab outfit is to wear a really 'dressy' top with a plain block colour skirt.

Wardina hearts pink:

Here she appears on the cover of a mag in a cute Turkish hijab:

With her pals in pink and gold - a fantastic combination:

So cute!

A day not wearing pink is a day very much wasted..

A really nice simple outfit with, of course, a pink touch:

My Steal:

Copying her pink theme (kinda)..

Soft colours..(ish) by Zaenab

OK.. so not everyday. Not much of a lover of orange myself but what a great pic of her with her friends, awww:

I love bold prints, they look really nice when worn with the right stuff, like here:

This outfit is stunning!! Gold is one of my fave colours and she's pulled it off by keeping it simple. I'll try my best not to be too jealous of the (most probably) real Louis Vuitton she's clutching so protectively..well I don't blame her!

And last but not least, Wardina with the cutest, most adorable accessories a women can have (well, maybe apart from a Chanel bag but..)

[P.S. In case you think I'm mean - I know babies aren't objects, so don't fret, I won't treat any children I may have in the future like accessories..]
